Online Degree Programs
Frostburg State University has grown from offering just a few online courses in 2003 to offering hundreds of online courses and seven degree programs entirely online - three Undergraduate (RN to BSN, LPN to BSN, and Multidisciplinary Studies) program and five Graduate degrees. These programs offer a variety of online and blended courses which provide a balance of both online and face-to-face instruction. We encourage you to explore our online programs shown below.

Online Courses
A large variety of online courses are offered each Fall and Spring semester for residential and non-residential students. Intersession and Summer courses are also available to visiting students who can easily transfer the course back to their home school. 索菲 - Summer Online Freshman Initiative
Freshman students newly admitted to FSU, have the opportunity to get an early start the summer before their first Fall semester through and innovative and award winning program called 索菲 (Summer Online Freshman Initiative). Students register for popular introductory courses, which are delivered online, during their scheduled Preview FSU session in June. This program gives students an opportunity to ease into the academic environment while getting a jump start on their degree. Ask your advisor how you can be a part of 索菲.
